Dusk welcomes the thought… A chain of questions, a cocktail of emotion,

It’s then that the smile reveals its true identity: its paleness sharply cutting through the darkness; boldly outlining wrinkles that kept it there, its silhouette… no longer a deception
Perhaps a cue to finally give in
Maybe to hold on tighter
Emotions…
They clam up, numb the vocals and mute the inner voice
Despite this, the outbursts within grow louder
A mimicry of the same thought;
A dream of a niche… a haven of comfort;
The yearn for a smile… joy.

It’s the mind’s soliloquy that threatens to burst the skull
Just then I reckon…
A lone star gliding in the sky waits for day;
A free dandelion floating in the air, hopes for a destination;
A particle of dust swept by a wave of wind hangs on to fate…
And an infant;
A little babe who cries to sleep continues to weep in her dreams
Faith is what this belle lives by,
Faith; difficult to cling on equally impossible to let go of.
